- Please be aware that most projects require upfront research in the market and technology it is focused on. Although I may be conversant in your product-technology-market, I will require 1-4 days (depending on my familiarity and complexity of the goals) to get the 'lay of the land'. That said, an all out effort is made to minimize this and get to the heart of the project as soon as possible
- Most of my work is done on the internet via email, video conferencing, webinars and over the telephone, however, if any extraordinary expenses were to occur, the client will be called for prior approval
- All creations and inventions while work is being done for a client is SciBiz International property
- All landing pages, websites, reports, marketing and sales collateral created during a project is SciBiz International property.
- Extraordinary expenses may include ground and air travel (in the US, I typically fly low-cost airlines Southwest and JetBlue; in case of international travel, all airfare is business class), meals, entertainment (e.g., meals with interviewees), hotels, rental cars, cabs, limos, symposia and trade show fees
- All reasonable communication expenses (telephone, video conferencing, internet, computer fees) are included in my fee; typical projects do not include any additional expenses
- All expenses for execution and completion of a project will be invoiced
- For those projects where a contract is in place I have a 60 day termination window, meaning if a client wishes to cancel a project, they must give a 60 day notice (and pay for the 60 days as the project winds down)
- All work is done on a best-effort basis; SciBiz International and Charlie d'Estries do not imply or guarantee any particular results (but rest assured, my work speaks for itself!)
