- Lead generation/pipeline building campaign uses a combination of legacy sales and internet marketing techniques. It can be for products that are new, possibly because it is a replacement that is faster, cheaper, better... or for a complex, difficult sale such as contract manufacturing or clinical development technologies. It can also be for products that have been on the market for a while but need a serious injection of caffeine ;)
- Lead generation/pipeline building campaign projects can be from a minimum of 6 months to several years
- Typical projects are 2-8 days per month
business development
- Fee structure is a daily rate plus success fee (typically 10% commission for potentially saleable product)
- My business development activity is typically for complex, new, long sales cycle, missionary sale development
- Can include lead generation website development; setup for email marketing; video editing and video marketing; survey design, market selections and survey data collection and processing; mobile marketing setup and marketing
- Business development projects can be from a minimum of 6 months to several years
- 12 month Termination Sales Continuance (TSC)... meaning a commission is paid if a sale I identified is booked within 12 months of my departure. TSC can vary depending on product, sales cycle, etc.
- Typical projects are 2-4 days per month
fees
- $1,600 per day (8 hours) month-to-month contract
- $1,400 per day (8 hours) when minimum 6 month contract and minimum 2 days per month (paid quarterly)
- $250 per hour for small projects, short consultations and piecemeal work
- 10% success fees additional for business development projects
- $500/day additional for any overnight travel for clients
