technology and business surveys

A survey collects information. The overall goal is to collect quality information in sufficient numbers on a particular subject to be able to justify or tear down certain assumptions and/or to collect completely new information. My surveys target the scientific community and because this segment is busy and constantly asked for opinions, each survey is designed to be simple and to-the-point. What is most interesting about surveys is its ability to identify people interested in your product or service, which makes it an excellent lead generator (this depends on the kind of survey designed).

  • Design; try to keep to less than 10 questions and no more than 20 (more questions mean fewer responses)
  • Target; experiment with small batches to various segments to measure response and survey effectiveness
  • Optimize survey after reviewing responses and comments
  • Social media, mailing lists, network... are the distribution channels for the survey
  • Report on survey responses (with comments)

technology & business surveys
    • Technology & business surveys include survey design, target market identification, social marketing plan/execution and reporting; personal telephone interviews can also be included if desired. Please note in the life sciences high volume responses are not the norm, however, if this is what you are looking for let's discuss. Due to volatility of survey markets, response rates are not guaranteed
    • I currently use FluidSurveys for my survey engine
    • $1,250 per day
    • $175 per hour
    • Typical survey will take go live within 2 weeks, and will take 60-90 days and cost ~$5K; for life sciences typical number of responses = 25-75
    • Note: Complex, high-end surveys usually have lower response rates. Less complex, short surveys (<10 questions) usually have higher response rates. In either case, response rates also go up the longer a survey is exposed to a market. For higher response rates, more time is needed to continuously push the survey out to various distribution channels.
